Qualifications

• Successfully completed a Naacls accredited Histotechnician program within the last 5 years.
• One to two years experience as Histotechnician preferred.
• American Society of Clinical Pathologists (Ht-Ascp) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares slides from surgical and autopsy materials for examination.
• Checks identification and prepares surgical specimens for gross examination.
• Operates all department equipment safely and performs preventative maintenance.
