Job summary

Requirements include CAHEA/NAACLS‑accredited histology training and HT (ASCP) certification, plus 1 year of lab experience. Candidates should be able to work safely with PHI/HLab data and commit to high quality standards.

Qualifications

• Graduation from CAHEA/NAACLS‑accredited histology program with HT (ASCP) certification.
• 1 year of lab training or experience performing high‑complexity testing.
• Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills; able to operate core lab equipment.

Responsibilities

• Embed and prepare slides for routine H&E and special stains.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and document results.
• Troubleshoot processing, embedding, cutting, and staining as needed.
• Work safely in a laboratory with biological and chemical hazards; uphold quality control.
