Job summary

Clinical Pathology Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Histology Technologist for the 3rd shift in Austin, TX. You will embed and prepare slides for routine H&E and special stains, while ensuring quality and safety in a high-volume lab.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited histology program with HT (ASCP) certification.
• Minimum 1 year of lab training or high-complexity testing experience.
• Strong reading, writing and analytical skills.
• Experience with special stains and immunohistochemistry is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Embed and prepare slides for routine H&E and special stain procedures.
• Perform and document scheduled preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot processing, embedding, cutting, and staining when needed.
• Work in a fast-paced laboratory with biological and chemical hazards.
