Job summary

Clinical Pathology Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a histology professional for the 3rd shift to embed and prepare slides for routine H&E and special stains. You will handle maintenance and troubleshooting in a fast-paced lab environment while ensuring safety and quality control.

The role requires CAHEA/NAACLS accreditation and HT (ASCP) certification, plus 1 year of lab experience in high complexity testing. Excellent reading, writing and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from CAHEA/NAACLS accredited histotech program and HT (ASCP).
• 1 year of lab training or experience performing high complexity testing.
• Certification from ASCP or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Embed and prepare slides for routine H&E and special stains.
• Perform and document scheduled preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot processing, embedding, cutting, and staining as needed.
• Work in a fast-paced lab with biological and chemical hazards; uphold safety and quality control.
