Essentia Health's Pathology Team at St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth, Minnesota, seeks a certified Histotechnician (HT-ASCP) for a full-time night shift. You will process tissue specimens, perform routine and special stains, and conduct IHC/ISH testing to support accurate diagnoses.

Responsibilities include Mohs and frozen section assistance, rigorous QA/QC, and instrument maintenance, all while collaborating with pathologists and lab staff. AHQ certifications required for the role.

Qualifications

• ASCP HT certification required.
• Graduate of NAACLS-accredited Histotechnician program or equivalent.
• 1 year histopathology experience with biology/chemistry coursework preferred.

Responsabilités

• Process and prepare pathology and cytology specimens for microscopic examination.
• Perform routine and special staining procedures.
• Conduct IHC and ISH testing.
• Assist with Mohs and frozen section procedures.
• Maintain QA/QC standards.
• Perform instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with pathologists and lab professionals to support diagnostic services.
