Qualifications

• Must meet CLIA high complexity testing requirements and accreditation standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process tissue specimens for histology according to SOPs.
• Operate tissue processors, microtome, and automated stainers per SOP.
• Ensure proper labeling, tracking, and documentation across LIS, cassettes, slides, and logs.
• Embedd tissues, monitor processing adequacy, and produce diagnostic sections.
• Perform gross examination and select representative tissue samples as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe lab environment and participate in safety and infection control activities.
