Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Cincinnati, OH, seeks a Histotech / Grossing Trainee. You will train as a grossing technician or histotechnician, under supervision, and progress to independent work as training completes. The role runs Monday to Friday, 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM.

Pay starts at $20.00+ per hour with eligibility for annual bonuses based on performance. The position emphasizes learning under direct supervision with numerous benefits, on-site facilities, and potential career advancement

Qualifications

• Associates degree required; histology/grossing coursework preferred.
• Current trainee state licensure, as applicable.
• 1 year histology and/or grossing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare slides for microscopic evaluation under supervision.
• Perform duties of a Histology Lab Assistant.
• Describe gross features, record measurements and dissect surgical specimens under supervision.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality standards, and regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
