Qualifications

• 2-3 years of histology experience.
• Dermatopathology experience preferred.
• Must meet CLIA/CA Grossing Guidelines CFR 493.1489.
• HT/HTL certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently cut 50-100 blocks per day with high quality.
• Cut sections from complex and small biopsy specimens with precision.
• Demonstrate independence and leadership in workload management.
• Collaborate with departments to maintain a professional lab environment.
• Follow health and safety protocols and maintain a safe workplace.
• Perform routine H&E stains, special stains, and Immunoperoxidase.
• Handle STAT GMS stains and STAT specimen processing accurately.
• Prioritize specimens and tasks to deliver quick, quality results.
• Participate in on-call rotations and shifts as needed.
• Assist with department safety duties and maintain lab cleanliness.
