Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery is hiring a Histotech to join a renowned dermatology practice dedicated to high-quality patient care and experience. The role emphasizes accurate processing, embedding, cutting, staining and coverslipping within a collaborative team.

Qualified candidates will hold a current ASCP HT certification or be registry eligible and possess at least one year of related histology experience. A strong attendance record and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Current ASCP certification (HT) or registry eligible.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year experience embedding, cutting, staining, special stains, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Processing, embedding, cutting, staining and coverslipping.
• Accessioning specimens along with other team members.
• Performing special stains, following protocols.
• Putting slides together with requisitions – double checking for accuracy.
• Quality control and adherence to department protocols and procedures.
