Qualifications

• Must have ASCP HT certification or registry eligibility.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year experience in embedding, cutting, staining, special stains, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Process specimens: embedding, cutting, staining and coverslipping.
• Accession specimens with the team.
• Perform special stains per protocols.
• Prepare slides and ensure accurate requisitions.
• Execute quality control and adhere to department procedures.
• Maintain reliability, dependability and attendance history.
• Collaborate as a team and perform other duties as assigned.
