Site Description
The Youth Services Center (YSC) is the District of Columbia’s detention center for male and female youth, responsible for the care and custody of young people placed in secure detention by court order from the DC Superior Court Family Court Division.
Position Overview
The History teacher must be willing to teach a range of history subject areas, including World History I, World History II, US History, US Government, DC History, Civics, and other social studies related content. With the support of a special education teacher, this position will also support students with special learning or emotional needs to ensure that they receive the level of instruction that they need to enable them to succeed.

Salary and Benefits
