Job summary

The Blinn College District is seeking a Part Time Dual Credit History instructor to teach at Royal High School. The instructor must be an employee of Royal ISD and will deliver college-level history content in high school settings.

Responsibilities include maintaining course syllabi, conducting assessments, and engaging students through varied instructional methods. Opportunities for professional development and collaboration within the Humanities department are provided.

Qualifications

• Requires Master's degree in History or American Civilization or equivalent with 18 graduate hours in History.
• Employee of Royal ISD and able to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain access to students through office hours and electronic communication.
• Prepare, maintain and utilize course syllabi and assessments.
• Utilize diverse instructional delivery methods and classroom media.
• Assess student performance and provide timely feedback.
• Engage in professional development and department activities.
