Commonwealth of Kentucky seeks a Park Manager I to lead the historic Waveland State Historic Site in Lexington. The role blends stewardship of historic assets with planning and coordinating events, weddings, and programs for diverse guests while preserving the Bryans family home.

The position requires strong customer service, box-office style revenue thinking, and staff leadership within a 37.5-hour work week and no overtime eligibility.

Qualifications

• Must have two years of business, administrative or management experience.
• Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: Additional education substitutes for experience on a year-for-year basis.
• Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Additional related experience substitutes for education on a year-for-year basis.

Responsabilités

• Oversees, maintains, and protects the Park's physical, cultural, and natural assets.
• Provides appropriate interpretation of the Bryan family and the historic mansion.
• Provides effective leadership for its dedicated staff.
• Enhances revenues through programming and promotion of events.
• Works within the park's budget to monitor spending and controlling of costs.
