North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources, Fort Fisher Division, seeks a Rental Coordinator to manage event rentals at Fort Fisher State Historic Site. You will coordinate contracts, dates, logistics, and vendor communications, ensuring compliance with site policies and safety standards.

Required are a Bachelor’s degree and experience in event planning or film permits; familiarity with risk management and PCI-compliant accounting is preferred.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree and one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination.
• Experience organizing filming activities at historic sites.
• Experience with special events at museums or historic sites, universities, or convention centers.
• Knowledge of event risk management including familiarity with ABC permit regulations, event insurance liability, health inspections.
• Ability to budget and invoice with PCI-compliant accounting procedures.

• Promote, coordinate, and manage rental events at Fort Fisher State Historic Site.
• Coordinate contracts, confirm dates, and manage logistics and timelines; ensure site policy compliance.
• Provide exceptional customer service to a broad range of renters and events.
• Ensure events comply with insurance, health, and safety standards and codes.
• Draft venue contracts, manage invoicing, and ensure payments are coded correctly.
• Collaborate with internal departments to follow site policies and procedures.
