Job summary

Army Medical Center Madigan is seeking a qualified Histotechnician to provide histology support in the Department of Pathology, Anatomical Pathology Service, Tacoma. You will assist pathologists with specimen cutting and tissue preparation for diagnostic review.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting cryostats and ensuring proper labeling and tracking of specimens, with a focus on quality control and efficient workflow in a high-stakes environment.

Qualifications

• Specialized experience assisting pathologists in specimen cutting and prep for microscopic analysis.
• Education in Biology, Chemistry, or Microbiology with transcripts.
• Combination of education and experience may qualify per federal guidelines.

Responsibilities
