Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required; AA/AS in biological science preferred.
• Experience: 1 year pathology laboratory experience.
• Equivalents: An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted.
• Other: must be able to work as part of a team, record data accurately, follow instructions, maintain professionalism with management and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic histology procedures (trimming, processing, embedding, microtomy, staining, coverslipping).
• Receive samples, complete tracking documentation, and prepare pathology materials for shipment and archiving.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education
