Job summary

Charles River is seeking an experienced histology professional in Horsham, PA. The role focuses on independently performing advanced histology, slide QC, special stains, and IHC, with responsibilities that include preparing study documentation and supporting audits.

• Must be able to prepare responses to audits and document study data.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform advanced histology (slide QC, special stains, thin/thick sections, IHC, and serial/step sectioning).
• Prepare responses to audits, deviations, and other documentation from internal and external reviews of data.
• Perform method development experiments and troubleshoot technical challenges.
• Prepare study-specific procedure documentation.
• Assist in training staff junior to this level.
• May serve as a source for pathology-related study information and attend study meetings as needed.
• May perform basic necropsy procedures and assist with specialized necropsy procedures.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned.
