Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required; an AA/AS in a biological science is preferred.
• Experience: 1 year of pathology laboratory experience.
• Other: Must be able to work as a team, record data accurately, and follow instructions; computer software experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with and perform basic histology procedures (trimming, processing, embedding, microtomy, staining, and coverslipping).
• Receive samples, complete tracking documentation, and prepare pathology materials and data for shipment and archiving.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned.
