Job summary

Cleveland Clinic is hiring a Histology Technician or Histotechnologist to join the lab team in Cleveland. You will prepare, process, embed and section tissue specimens, perform staining, label slides and support pathologists with accurate, timely results.

This full-time, day-shift role runs 4:00am–12:30pm. Minimum ASCP eligibility in Histology; preferred: one year experience and a related Bachelor’s degree with HT/HTL certification.

Qualifications

• ASCP Certification eligibility in Histology.
• Experience or education aligned with histology lab practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, process, embed and section tissue specimens.
• Perform routine histology staining and slide preparation.
• Maintain lab equipment and records.
• Support pathologists with slide distribution and data documentation.
• Train and assist students and trainees as needed.
