Roche is onsite in Tucson, AZ, seeking a Histology Team Lead to guide technical professionals across local and remote sites, standardize procedures, and drive quality in diagnostic histology testing.

You will lead with empathy and data-driven decisions, ensuring biospecimen management, workflow optimization, and strict adherence to high diagnostic standards. This role emphasizes collaboration, safety, and continuous learning.

Competenze

• Associate Degree in Laboratory Science / Histology with HT (ASCP) certification and 7+ years histology experience.
• or a Bachelor’s Degree in Science with HTL (ASCP) certification and 4+ years experience.
• Demonstrated leadership and people-coaching experience.
• Experience navigating cross-functional environments and leading organizational change.
• Strong technical proficiency in histology methods including microtomy, grossing, tissue processing, and IHC/ISH.

Mansioni

• Guide, mentor, and empower a team of associate histotechnicians and histotechnologists across local and remote sites.
• Standardize and optimize daily operating procedures across microtomy, grossing, routine histology, and IHC/ISH testing.
• Drive operational decision-making with Biorepository team for biospecimen management and sample transactions.
• Champion continuous improvement to enhance throughput, turnaround time and analytical quality.
• Partner with Histology Subchapter Lead to uphold quality benchmarks and regulatory standards.
• Foster an inclusive, psychologically safe lab culture centered on transparent communication.
