Job Description

Perform routine histological functions, including receiving, preparing, and processing surgical specimens for patients.

Minimum Requirements

• Successful completion of a formal histology technologist training program, or currently working towards completion.
• Attention to detail, good physical dexterity, and effective written and oral communication skills.
• Certification-eligible applicants must pass the examination within 18 months of school graduation or moving to Georgia.
• Must submit to and pass a Color-Acuity screening test.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with computer keyboard and information systems.
• Immunochemistry experience and/or training.
• B.S. degree in science plus successful completion of a formal histology technologist training program.
