This role involves performing routine histological functions, including receiving, preparing, and processing surgical specimens.

Required Qualifications

• Successful completion of a formal histology technologist training program, or current enrollment in such a program.
• Attention to detail, physical dexterity, and strong written and oral communication skills.
• Certification-eligible applicants must pass the examination within eighteen (18) months of school graduation or relocating to Georgia.
• All applicants must submit to and pass a Color-Acuity screening test.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with computer keyboard and information systems.
• Immunohistochemistry experience and/or training.
• B.S. degree in science plus successful completion of a formal histology technologist training program.
