Job summary

Sanford Health in North Dakota is seeking a Pathology Technician for the Histology/Gross Laboratory. You will assist pathologists and technologists by preparing tissue samples, staining, and slide handling under supervision.

The role involves equipment maintenance, inventory management, data entry, and support tasks to ensure accurate diagnosis and efficient lab operations. A biology-related Bachelor's degree and Laboratory experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology or related field with 30 combined hours of biological science and chemistry.
• One year of laboratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage gynecologic Pap sample accessioning, staining, and coverslipping.
• File slides and monitor billing codes and reports.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment.
• Manage inventory and perform phone duties.
• Train and onboard new staff as needed.

Education

Bachelor's degree in biology or related field that includes 30 combined semester hours of biological science and chemistry.
