Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates Degree, HT (ASCP) or eligible.
• Bachelors Degree, HTL (ASCP) or eligible.
• MLS (ASCP) with HTL (ASCP) certification within two years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervise histology laboratory staff and administrative assistant personnel.
• Train new personnel and perform evaluations in lead area.
• Develop and evaluate new procedures and equipment; troubleshoot issues and ensure quality control.
• Review slides with Pathologist and manage specimen processing, embedding, microtomy, staining, and gross descriptions.
