• Assists pathologists and coordinates with other departments and facilities as needed.
• Prepares frozen sections under direct supervision of a histologist or pathologist.
• Handles supplies and reagents in the prescribed manner.
• Maintains pathology documentation including specimen logs and legal requests.
• Screens, receives and directs telephone calls.
