Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or 3+ years histology experience required.
• Maintains clinical competency and mandatory education for the unit.

Responsibilities

• Commits to mission and demonstrates core values.
• Coordinates daily operation of histology technicians at multiple locations.
• Provides training to staff on new methods and procedures.
• Ensures CAP requirements are met in collaboration with Laboratory leadership.
• Creates schedules and performs daily leadership duties.
• Maintains up-to-date manuals and CAP-compliant procedures.
• Performs specimen preparation, transfers and data entry of patient information.
• Transports specimens between lab sites and documents records.
