Job summary

Summit Pathology in Loveland, CO has an opportunity for a qualified Histologist to join our team of dedicated professionals who specialize in surgical pathology and related subspecialties.

Responsibilities include embedding, microtomy, special staining, immunohistochemistry, and routine equipment maintenance; candidates must demonstrate precision, reliability, and good communication while working across multiple systems and shifts.

Qualifications

• Two years bench experience in histology.
• New graduates from histology programs will be considered.
• ASCP certification preferred.
• Must have strong mental and visual concentration.
• Good hand/eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Embedding, microtomy, special staining, immunohistochemistry and equipment maintenance to assure timely and high quality preparation of histology specimens
• Applicants will demonstrate competency in using multiple computer systems, practice excellent customer service skills, be willing to work any shift, and demonstrate independent judgement.
