Job summary

Summit Pathology in Loveland, CO has an opportunity for a qualified Histologist to join our team of dedicated professionals who specialize in surgical pathology and related subspecialties.

Responsibilities include embedding, microtomy, special staining, immunohistochemistry, and routine equipment maintenance; candidates must demonstrate precision, reliability, and good communication while working across multiple systems and shifts.

Qualifications

• Two years bench experience in histology.
• New graduates from histology programs will be considered.
• ASCP certification preferred.
• Must have strong mental and visual concentration.
• Good hand/eye coordination.

Embedding, microtomy, special staining, immunohistochemistry and equipment maintenance to assure timely and high quality preparation of histology specimens

Applicants will demonstrate competency in using multiple computer systems, practice excellent customer service skills, be willing to work any shift, and demonstrate independent judgement.

Qualifications And Skills

• Two years’ experience at the bench level
• New Graduate from a Histology Program will be considered
• ASCP Certification, preferred
• Must have strong mental and visual concentration
• Good hand/eye coordination
• Strong interpersonal skills with emphasis on communication
• Starting pay range for this position: $27-$35 per hour depending on experience, certifications, and qualifications.
