UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL is seeking a Histology professional for a 100% FTE day shift with rotating start times. Work location is on-site at 1401 E State St. This role supports accurate tissue processing and analysis to aid patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate or baccalaureate degree in Biology or Chemistry or NAACLS histotechnologist/technician program.
• Histotechnician (HT) or Histotechnologist (HTL) certification preferred.

Job description

100% FTE, Monday-Friday, Day shift, with rotating start times. You will work at UW Health Swedish American Hospital 1401 E State St.

Additional components of compensation may include:

Evening, night, and weekend shift differential

Qualifications

• Associate or baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college/university with a major in Biology or Chemistry -OR- successful completion of a NAACLS accredited Histotechnologist or Histologic technician program. Required

Licenses & Certifications

• Histotechnician (HT) (ASCP) or Histotechnologist (HTL) (ASCP) certification preferred. Preferred
