Qualifications

Job description

Overview

Responsibilities

This position prepares and stains tissue specimens for microscopic examinations by the pathologist to demonstrate disease processes.

Qualifications

We Require:

  1. An understanding of anatomy, chemistry, mathematics, immunology, and microtomy staining.
  2. Excellent hand-eye coordination.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  4. The ability to be organized.

HT(ASCP) eligible or attending an HT track school preferred. A high school diploma or GED is required for this position.
