TechPlace at Brunswick Landing in Maine is seeking an Administrative Assistant to act as the operational backbone for TechPlace, supporting member services, administrative operations, data management, communications, and events.
The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This is an on-site position with a consistent presence in the building.
Location: TechPlace, Brunswick Landing, Brunswick, Maine
Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Work Arrangement: On-site
Reports To: TechPlace Director
Pay Range: $21.00-$26.00/hour (DOE) plus generous benefits

About the Role
The Administrative Assistant serves as the operational backbone of TechPlace and is often the first person members, visitors, and business partners meet.
This role combines administrative support, customer service, facility operations, communications, event coordination, and social media management. Success requires strong organization, excellent judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
One hour you may be updating records, reconciling spreadsheets, or drafting a member communication. The next, you may be welcoming a visitor, coordinating an event, or helping a startup tenant solve a facility issue.
