As a Mechanical Assembler , you will be responsible for assembling low and medium voltage electrical switchgear cabinets used in the manufacturing of electrical power distribution products.
This is not a repetitive assembly line position. You’ll work from blueprints and work orders, gather materials, assemble products, and ensure every unit meets quality standards.
Your Daily Duties Will Include:
- Reading and interpreting assembly drawings and elevation drawings
- Reviewing blueprints and work orders to determine assembly requirements
- Gathering necessary materials, hardware, and components
- Constructing modular steel cabinets
- Building copper buss assemblies
- Using hand and power tools to complete assemblies
- Following work instructions and manufacturing specifications
- Performing basic inspections to ensure product quality
- Maintaining a safe and organized work area
- Working closely with team members to meet production goals

We’re Looking For Candidates With:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in one of the following:
- Mechanical Assembly
- Machine Building
- Automotive Mechanics
- Related Manufacturing or Industrial Assembly Roles
- Experience working in a job‑shop or custom‑build manufacturing environment
- Ability to work independently from blueprints and work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
High School Diploma or Technical School education preferred, but not required.
