Job summary

JBA Institute in La Mirada, CA is hiring Behavior Technicians/Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) for part-time roles. You will provide ABA services to young children in home and community settings, teach language and social skills, and document progress.

We offer a flexible schedule, paid training, mileage reimbursement, and opportunities for advancement. Schedule typically Monday-Friday, with variability and potential move to full-time.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Registered behavior technician (RBT) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing services to clients (ages 3-5) across home, daycare, school, and other community settings.
• Teaching acquisition skills such as language, social, self-help, and play skills.
• Managing problem behavior and teaching appropriate replacement skills.
• Documenting data and progress throughout sessions.

Schedule:

• We’re looking for someone who’s comfortable with a schedule that has variability throughout the week. Our operating hours fall between Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM–6:00 PM—never weekends!
