Job summary

JBA Institute in Paramount, CA is hiring Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to support children ages 3-12 across school, home, clinic and community settings. You will teach language, social, self-help and play skills while documenting progress and adjusting strategies based on data.

We offer paid mileage, sick days under California laws, medical/dental insurance for full-time staff, and ongoing training to help you grow confident and empowered in your role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred.
• RBT certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage problem behavior and teach appropriate replacement skills.

Schedule:

• We're looking for someone who's comfortable with a schedule that vary across the day. All hours fall between Monday-Friday, 7:45 AM-6:00 PM-never weekends! Start part-time, but quickly to move into full-time.
