Job summary

JBA Institute in Paramount, CA is hiring Behavior Technicians/RBTs to support children ages 3-12 across school, home, clinic and community settings.

You will help teach language, social and self-help skills, manage behavior, collect data, and participate in ongoing training. Competitive hourly wages and growth opportunities offered; in-person work with a strong focus on work-life balance and California labor standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with autism or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach acquisition skills such as language, social, self-help, and play skills.
• Manage problem behavior and teach appropriate replacement skills.
• Document data and progress throughout sessions.

Minimum Qualifications:

Schedule:

• We’re looking for someone who’s comfortable with a schedule that vary across the day. All hours fall between Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM–6:00 PM—never weekends! Start part-time, but quickly to move into full-time.

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
