Job summary

JBA Institute in Paramount, CA is hiring Behavior Technicians/Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to support children aged 3-12 across school, home, clinic and community settings. You'll teach language, social, self-help and play skills, document progress, and help reduce problem behaviors while delivering compassionate, evidence-based ABA services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing services to clients (ages 3-12) across school, home, clinic and other community settings.
• Teaching acquisition skills such as language, social, self-help, and play skills.
• Managing problem behavior and teaching appropriate replacement skills.
• Documenting data and progress throughout sessions.

Schedule:

• We’re looking for someone who’s comfortable with a schedule that vary across the day. All hours fall between Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM–6:00 PM—never weekends! Start part-time, but quickly to move into full-time.
