Job summary

Home Instead in Concord, NC, seeks compassionate caregivers to provide personal and Alzheimer's care to seniors. Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, grooming, and medication reminders, as well as light housekeeping tasks.

Responsibilities

Providing personal care; including assistance with bathing and grooming, transfer assistance, use of mechanical lift devices, light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, medication and appointment reminders, and Alzheimer’s care. Provide dignified and respectful care to seniors and their property, while communicating in a friendly and congenial manner. Pet care assistance for clients with furry companions may also be required.

Qualifications & Hiring Process

Complete a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screen. Possess a valid driver’s license and auto insurance (required). Must be able to work a minimum of 16 hours per week and every other weekend. Must have at least 6 months of professional experience.
