Job summary

JBA Institute in Bellflower, CA is hiring Part-time Behavior Technicians/RBTs. You will provide services to children ages 4-12 in home, school, and community settings, teaching language, social, self-help, and play skills while recording progress.

Applicants with autism experience and a valid RBT certification are preferred. The role offers part-time hours, a schedule that changes weekly, mileage reimbursement, and paid training and sick time. In-person work setup.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required but Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Registered behavior technician (RBT) certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Providing services to clients (ages 4-12) across home, school, and other community settings.
• Teaching acquisition skills such as language, social, self-help, and play skills.
• Managing problem behavior and teaching appropriate replacement skills.
• Documenting data and progress throughout sessions.

Schedule:

• We're looking for someone who's comfortable with a schedule that changes week to week. All hours fall between Monday-Friday, 7:45 AM-6:00 PM-never weekends! Start part-time, with the option to move into full-time.
