Qualifications

• Must have high school or equivalent; strong English reading/writing/speaking skills.
• Minimum 3 years in medical records-related work; HIM/HIT enrollment may substitute for experience.
• Experience with Release of Information processes and Epic EHR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and staff.
• Respond to requests for medical records via phone, email, fax, or in person.
• Ensure timely, accurate release of health information per procedures and HIPAA.
