Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health Information Science or related field preferred.
• Three years of experience in Health Information Management, Compliance, Risk Management, Release of Information or Patient Access/Quality.
• Experience with HIPAA regulations and investigations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and oversee the hospital's HIPAA Privacy Program.
• Serve as primary point of contact for privacy inquiries, complaints and investigations.
• Collaborate with HIM, IT Security, Risk Management, Legal and clinical departments to protect patient information.
