Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; HIM degree preferred.
• Experience meeting deadlines in a HIM setting is required.
• Experience handling confidential information is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prep, scan, and index patient records into the EMR/HIMS.
• Ensure accuracy of scanned images and patient identifiers.
• Maintain filing systems and support ROI processes in line with HIPAA.
