Job summary

St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA is seeking a Health Information Management Tech to monitor and audit EHR documentation, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timeliness across records.

This full-time Day shift role requires attention to detail, knowledge of release of information procedures, and proficiency with Excel, Word, and Outlook. You will collaborate with teams to audit metadata for privacy compliance and support MPI duplicate reporting corrections.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; experience in Medical Office, Medical Records, or healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Medical Record concepts including record completion requirements, chart tracking, and release of information procedures.
• Knowledge of data analysis concepts and ability to interpret data.
• Experience with computer software including Excel, Word, and Microsoft Outlook.

Responsibilities

As a “Health Information Management Tech” you will:

• In collaboration with others, monitors and audits EHR documentation.

• Reviews records as scheduled or on ad hoc basis to establish completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of documentation

• As directed, performs audit of metadata to detect potential privacy breeches related to EHR access

• Selects appropriate or defined sample size to support audit validity

• In collaboration with others, monitors and reviews MPI duplicate reports to ensure timely processing and correction

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED and experience in Medical Office, Medical Records or other applicable health care experience.

• Strong knowledge of Medical Record concepts including record completion requirements,chart tracking, and release of information procedures.

• Knowledge of data analysis concepts.

• Experience with Computer skills to include Excel, Word and Microsoft Outlook.

[FT/PT Benefit eligible Roles] :

**0.4 FTE (16 hours weekly) up to 1.0 FTE (40 hours weekly)
