Huron is seeking a dedicated HIM Document Scanning & ROI Analyst to support the release of information and maintain the integrity of the EHR in a HIPAA-compliant environment. You will reconcile records, index documents, and ensure data quality while delivering excellent service to patients and providers.

Across departments, you will manage ROI requests, handle subpoenas and legal requests, and contribute to process improvements with a focus on accuracy, turnaround time, and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in Health Information Management, medical records, document imaging, or similar healthcare setting.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications and data entry.
• Knowledge of HIPAA privacy and security regulations.
• Strong organization, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsabilités

• HIM Document Scanning & Record Reconciliation: reconcile records, collect discharged records, follow up on missing documents, scan and index into the EHR.
• Release of Information (ROI): process requests in compliance with HIPAA, retrieve records, validate authorizations, and manage subpoenas and legal requests.
• Customer Service & Operational Support: provide service to patients, providers, and internal stakeholders; answer inquiries and support projects.
• Compliance & Quality: protect PHI, adhere to regulations, maintain accuracy and turnaround times.
