Baptist Health in Louisville, KY seeks an HIM Physician Liaison to join our team, performing production of suspension lists and ensuring timely completion of delinquent medical records for hospital committees.

This customer-service oriented role protects patient privacy, supports Corporate Integrity, and aims to reduce delayed claim dollars through accurate data handling and collaboration with the HIM Supervisor and Manager.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Formal HIM education considered in lieu of experience.
• RHIA certification equates to 4 years of HIM work experience.
• RHIT certification equates to 2 years of HIM work experience.
• Notary public/eligible to obtain as needed.
• Two years minimum computer experience, with proficiency in data entry and basic MS Office applications including Word and Excel required.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology required.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate suspension lists for hospital wide distribution.
• Ensure timely completion and reporting of delinquent medical records for committees.
• Lower delayed claim dollars through timely data processing.
• Maintain patient privacy and security at all times.
• Support Corporate Integrity by following responsibilities.
