Vibra Permanent Staffing seeks an experienced Health Information Management Coordinator in Corbin, KY for a direct hire, full-time role supporting LTAC partners. You will manage medical records, ROI requests, and credentialing coordination to ensure compliance and smooth operations.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or equivalent, 1–3 years in HIM/Medical Records, and basic computer skills. You’ll work with clinicians and staff to safeguard PHI while enabling timely access to information.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Some college preferred.
• 1-3 years in HIM/Medical Records preferred.
• Knowledge of basic computer skills and word processing.

Responsibilities

• Manage chart organization and ROI for hospital records.
• Ensure timely credentialing of medical staff.
• Coordinate daily activities of medical records department.
• Provide communication to Physicians about Health Information Management.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accrediting requirements.
• Coordinate review of medical records for timely completion and documentation.
• Organize release of medical information per company policies and laws.
• Liaise between clinical, clerical and administrative staff on data acquisition and analysis.
• Support development of departmental operations and reporting.
