Job summary

V R Della Infotech Inc in Kansas City, KS seeks a Health Information Associate for a 13-week contract. The role involves reviewing patient records requests for HIPAA compliance and releasing records via Epic ROI.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of Health Information Management (HIM) and ROI experience.
• Direct ROI experience in healthcare or ROI vendor required.
• Hands-on experience reviewing medical record requests for HIPAA compliance.
• Experience releasing records through Epic ROI is required.
• Experience in HIM/ROI without ROI tools does not qualify.

Location: Kansas City, KS BR: BR/hr before admin fee Class/Area: Health Information Associate Start Date: 10/19 or 1 week later Ori Schedule: Will attend in person or virtual TUKHS 2-day orientation the first week of starting Monday & Tuesday Non-Billable Ori: 8 Hours Contract Length:13 weeks Scheduled details: Days | Monday Friday | 8:00 AM 5:00 PM or 7:00 AM 4:00 PM CST | Remote | Temp-to-Perm Opportunity Weekend Requirement: None Holiday Requirement: Not required. Floating Requirement: None On-Call Requirement: None Experience Requirement: 1+ year of Health Information Management (HIM), Medical Records & Release of Information (ROI) experience. Candidates should have direct experience working as an ROI Specialist, HIM ROI Associate, or similar role within a healthcare organization or ROI vendor. Must have hands‑on experience reviewing medical record requests for HIPAA compliance and releasing records through Epic s ROI application. Epic ROI experience is required. Candidates without direct experience processing and releasing medical records through Epic s ROI application will not be considered for interview. Experience simply accessing, retrieving, or providing medical records outside of an HIM/ROI function does not meet the requirement. New graduates accepted?
