• Processes medical record information into the EMR and handles release of information for legal requests.
• Responds to calls and voicemails from patients, health care professionals and payors with timely follow‑through.
• Performs quality assurance auditing, tracking and trending and supports performance improvement.
• Learns HIM departmental systems and may serve as an Epic super user after training and provides staff training as needed.
