Job summary

Bergen New Bridge Medical Center is seeking a HIM Archive Coordinator to support medical record processing, scanning, and reconciliation. You will handle IP/ED/LTC/OP records, ensure accurate indexing, and coordinate with the archive vendor for record shipments and storage.

Excellent organizational skills and EMR experience are essential. Responsibilities include prioritizing tasks, maintaining patient confidentiality, and assisting clinical staff as needed while adhering to department standards

Qualifications

• EMR systems experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process and reconcile discharged encounters across hospital units.
• Demonstrate competency in medical record analysis for IP/ED/LTC/OP/SSS; assist with chart scanning, indexing, and quality review.
• Use Paragon and OneContent; prioritize work to meet productivity targets.
• Reconcile, box, and store records, including coordinating with archive vendor.
• Assist physicians or clinical staff and ensure proper chart handling.
