Job summary

Applied Intuition seeks a systems validation engineer to sit at the crossroads of System Integration and Validation. You will build HiL environments from scratch and connect vehicle models to real hardware, working with OEM partners across multiple domains.

You will craft automated tests in Python and develop accurate validation strategies using MATLAB/Simulink, while configuring networks and CAN/Ethernet protocols. This role emphasizes ownership and systemic thinking in an in-office setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in automotive systems validation, embedded systems, or hardware integration across multiple vehicle domains.
• Hands-on experience building/configuring dSPACE (ControlDesk/ConfigurationDesk) or Vector hardware/software (CANoe, CANape).
• Proficiency in Python for test automation and MATLAB/Simulink for vehicle model development.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, configure, and initialize HiL test benches, lab cars, and test environments for new projects.
• Build and integrate complex vehicle simulation models in MATLAB/Simulink and link with HiL hardware.
• Analyze high-level system requirements and design validation strategies even with minimal documentation.
• Develop robust Python scripts to run tests across simulated, bench, and prototype environments.
• Configure vehicle networks and assets (ARXML, K-Matrix) across CAN, Automotive Ethernet, LIN, FlexRay.
• Perform deep-dive failure analysis with core engineering teams and OEM partners.
