Job summary

Applied Intuition is seeking a hands-on HiL validation engineer to build and optimize hardware-in-the-loop environments for automotive systems. You will assemble, configure, and calibrate HiL benches, develop MATLAB/Simulink vehicle models, and link them with real hardware to validate complex architectures.

You’ll write robust Python automation, analyze requirements, bridge gaps, and collaborate with OEM partners to ensure end-to-end validation across CAN, Automotive Ethernet, and other networks

Qualifications

• 2+ years in automotive systems validation.
• Hands-on experience with dSPACE/Vector hardware and software.
• Proficiency in Python for test automation and MATLAB/Simulink for vehicle modeling.
• Knowledge of CAN, Automotive Ethernet, LIN and FlexRay networks.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, configure, and initialize HiL test benches from the ground up for new projects.
• Build and integrate complex vehicle simulation models in MATLAB/Simulink and link with HiL hardware.
• Analyze high-level system requirements, bridge functional gaps, and design validation strategies.
• Develop robust automation scripts in Python to run tests across simulated, bench, and prototype environments.
• Configure vehicle communication networks (ARXML, K-Matrix) across CAN, Automotive Ethernet, LIN, FlexRay.
• Perform deep-dive failure analysis and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues.
